HOW TO OBTAIN A REFERRAL TO MEDNET AUSTRALIA

As Mednet Australia deals with specialist practice, it is helpful to you to get adequate rebate to be referred directly by a GP.

We prefer the GP to request a "Psychiatrist's mental health care plan" as this provides the psychiatrist the opportunity to not only involve the GP in collaborative care of the patient but permits the involvement of Mental Health Nurses as well.

Mednet Australia has been involved in providing services of Mental Health Nurses since the Incentive Programme came in to effect in July 2007.
